Arctic Cold Storage has a history dating back to 1945 when it began as a local distribution business serving bars, theaters, and concessions operators. Over the years, the company grew into a regional distribution business serving large national franchises such as A&W™, Dairy Queen™, Kentucky Fried Chicken™, Carousel Snack Bars, and Hardees™.
Through the past 20 years, we have focused our energy on developing our cold storage business, and we are pleased to play an integral role in servicing the accounts of several fortune 500 companies. About Our Facility
Safety is among the top priorities, in the design of the current 250,000 sq. ft. facility. The facility was also designed to maximize operational efficiencies to accommodate both long-term storage and high volume picking. With over 60% of Arctic Cold Storage's space convertible to freezer or cooler, Arctic Cold Storage maintains capabilities to adapt to changing customer demands. Our facility consists of four separate shipping/receiving docks for a total of 38 dock doors, two different types of blast freezers, and several types of racking systems to fit the needs of our customers
